Best Fishing Story?

50+, retirees & seniors - is this a dream fishing experience or a fishing nightmare?

fishing story, 50+, seniors, retireesFishing is usually a good way to relax and enjoy the great outdoors for people of all ages. However, as in this video, sometimes it can be a little too much of a good thing - usually, the result is sunburn, not fish jumping into your boat!

My dad loved fishing and would take us kids with him sometimes. He'd always put the worm on the hook for me and take the fish off...mostly I caught sunfish that he threw back in. It was mudpout we were usually after. For as long as they were able, Dad and Uncle Bill loved to go fishing together. Neither one of them was a big talker so they could spend a long day on a little boat just fishing in silence. We'd reap the benefit of one of their fishing trips with a catch of mudpout, which Mom would fry up for supper. As they got older and were no longer able to get out and fish together, Dad really missed the companionship and simple enjoyment of a day spent fishing with Bill.
